Tasmanian women have come together to knit or crochet a part of their body for an exhibition to celebrate International Women’s Day in March 2022. Women’s Health Tasmania has created the ‘Knit Your Bits’ craft project about women’s bodies in order to create positive understandings of the diversity of women’s bodies using craft and community. It will culminate in an exhibition of ‘Bits’ which will launch on International Women’s Day – 8th March 2022, here, at The Tasmanian Wool Centre. The exhibition will run from the 8th – 30th of March, 2022.
There’s a $1000 People’s Choice Award prize, for the Best Bit! We can’t wait to host this incredible display and hope to see you here in March!
